The conference will be headlined by our special international coach, Belgian player development Joerik Michiels. Coach Michiels will present two on-court clinics, as well as outline his method and philosophy for the coaches.
6-time NBL champion and former Adelaide 36’ers head coach CJ Bruton will present on court around developing shooters, while newly appointed Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence Women’s assistant coach Mel Downer will be on floor talking defensive transition.
Rounding out the on-court presentations will be Australian Emus and COE Men’s head coach Robbie McKinlay, sharing his favourite drills, with internationally regarded NBA School Technical Director Nico Loureiro sharing his thoughts and drills on developing decision making in young players.
Along with the on-court clinics and presentations, the Conference will include some keynote presentations in the excellent facilities at the AIS Ric Charlesworth Theatrette. Presenters and topics will include –

- Aneeka Smith (Australian U19 Physio and former junior national team player) – “Physical Preparation for Young Players”
